DIY Beauty Recipes: (order oils from www.mountainroseherbs.com for the following beauty recipes; also order the little brown glass bottles for these mixtures).
- Rose Face Oil: apricot or sweet almond oil (for base); essential oils: (rose, lavender, and geranium); Vitamin E oil. [After the glass bottles have been washed and dried, fill almost to top, using the funnel, with the base oil. Next, add 5 drops of each of the essential oils. Last, add 1 teaspoon of Vitamin E.] After washing face, apply generous amount of oil unto face and neck using circular motion.
- Sea Salt Rub: 2 cups fine sea salt; 4 cups apricot or almond oil; 20 drops of your favorite essential oil (try mixing lavender, geranium and orange). Combine all in a glass jar, stir or shake; Use to scrub skin from neck to toes.
- Alpha-Hydroxy Acid Mask: 1/4 cup of each: lemon juice, apple juice, grape juice, cane sugar. Blend all in a glass jar. Apply to face with organic cotton ball; Leave for 10 min. and rinse off. The mixture will stay good in the fridge for 4 days.

- Lemon Juice (grease cutter, stain remover).
- Liquid Castile Soap (all-purpose cleaner, grease-cutter, disinfectant; is vegetable-based not animal fat-based).
- Olive Oil (great furniture polish)
- Essential Oils of Lavender, Geranium, and Tea tree- antibacterial and make your home smell great. Tea tree oil is a natural solvent, cuts grease, kills germs and bacteria. Also many health benefits: put it on sores and cuts. Make Sure you get the real thing- it comes from Melaleuca alternifolia plant; There are around 150 species of Melaleuca plant, but only alternifolia has the healing properties (get it from www.mountainroseherbs.com)
DIY Green All-Purpose Spray Recipe: (Receptas natūraliai namų valymo priemonei….supilti į purškimo butelį)
- 32 oz. plastic spray bottle
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon pure castile soap (peppermint is good)(I added 3-5 spoons…1 tsp. was not enough to clean effectively IMO)
- 3/4 cup hydrogen peroxide
- 20 drops tea tree oil
- 20 drops lavender or lemongrass essential oil
(this spray is suitable for acrylic, ceramic, tile, wood, marble and granite)
Heavy-duty cleaner recipe: for tiles, doors, walls; Fill bucket with really hot water. Add squirt of dishwashing liquid, 1/2 cup baking soda, 20 drops tea tree oil and lavender essential oils.
Instead of Bleach use Oxo Brite Non-chlorine Bleach (www.ecos.com)
